For the love of Beautiful Chemistry

Here are select videos of these crystals forming in real-time under a microscope. This is “relaxation-media” so feel free to enjoy the beauty of nature at microscopic levels on full screen to soothe your nerves.

Crystal Photo-Micrography is an art of capturing unique patterns, extremely deep textures, vivid colors and abstract shapes of various chemical crystals through a cross polarised light microscope.

The art emerges out of chemical compounds and their reactions. Each piece of art is affected by crystallization process, humidity, temperature, time, polarizers, and retarders.

The most important thing is the visualization by the artist in combining the right chemicals, choice of process and selecting the most interesting area to photograph under microscope.

Chemical crystals ranging from simple sugar and table salt to variety of vitamins, amino acids, fertilizers, exotic salts, artificial sweeteners, corrosive acids and a lot more. I have even taken photos of human tears dried on slide and they are fascinating.

Each piece of art is a 1mm X 1mm or smaller portion on a glass slide on which the crystals are formed.

Feel free to enjoy the individual galleries and do not forget to share your feedback.
